1.Product Introduce

Capacitive Soil moisture sensor measures soil mositure levels by capacitive sensing rather than resistive sensing like other sensors on the market. It is made of corrosion resistant materal which gives it an excellent service life.

Insert it in to the soil around your plants and impress with real-time soil moisture data!

This module includes an on-board voltage regulator which gives it an operating voltage range of 3.3 ~ 5.5V. It is perfect for low-voltage MCUs, both 3.3V and 5V. For compatibility with a Raspberry Pi it will need an ADC converter.

This sensor is compatible with our 3-pin "Gravity" interface, which can be directly connected to the Gravity I/O expansion shield.

Our product with waterproof and insulation function which can be buried in the 8 to 10 inches soil to test the humidity .

2. The sensitive part of the sensor has been plated with crystal, which is more resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, the hardness

    reaches H8 level and scratch resistance.

3. The sensor is extended for better contact, the size is 170mm * 21mm*12mm.

4. The sensor uses copper wire, and the outlet is equipped with a line card to prevent pulling and breaking.

5. Optimization of output characteristics: 0-3V, 0-5V,RS485 output (Optional), especailly the 0-5V output, have higher precision than the 0-3V output.
