1.    System Overview

The remote monitoring system for water resources is an automated network management system that

combines software and hardware. It installs a water resource measuring device on the water source or water

unit to realize the collection of watermeter flow, water level, pipe network pressure and current and voltage

of theuser's water pump, as well as the start and stop of the pump, the opening and closing of the electric

valve control, etc through the wired or wireless communication with the Water Resources Management Center

computer network,real-time supervision and control of each water unit. Relevant water meterflow, water well

water level, pipe network pressure and data collection of current and voltage of user water pump are automatically stored in the computer database of the Water Resources Management Center. If the water unit

personnel power off, add water pump, water meter natural or man-made damage, etc., the management

center computer will simultaneously display the cause of the fault and alarm, so that it is convenient to send

people to the scene in time. Underspecial circumstances, the water resources management center can, according to the needs: limit the amount of water collected in different seasons, controlthe pump to start and stop the

pump; for users who owe the water resource fee,the water resource management center staff can use the

computer system to the electric unit of the water unit .The pump is remotely controlled remotely to realize the

automation and integration of water resources management and monitoring.

2.    System composition

    (1) The system is mainly composed of the following parts:

◆ Monitoring Center: (computer, water sourcemonitoring system software)

◆ Communication network: (mobile or telecombased communication network platform)

◆ GPRS/CDMA RTU: (Acquisition of on-siteinstrumentation signals, control of the start and stop of the pump,

transmission to the monitoring center via GPRS/CDMA network).

◆ Measuring instrument: (flow meter or watermeter, pressure transmitter, water level transmitter, current

voltagetransmitter)

3.The hardware introduction

    GPRS/CDMA Water Controller:

◆ The water resource controller collects the water pump status, electrical parameters, water flow, water level,

pressure,temperature and other data of the water source well on site.

◆ The water resource controller reports the field data actively and regularly reports the status change information      and alarm information.

◆ Water resource controller can display,store and query historical data; modify working parameters

◆ Water resource controller can automatically control the start and stop of the pump remotely

◆ Water resource controller can protect pump equipment and avoid working in phase loss, overcurrent, etc.

◆ The water resource controller is compatible with pulse water meters or flow meters produced by any

manufacturer.

◆ Use GPRS-VPN private network, less investment, reliable data transmission, and small amount of

communication equipment maintenance

4. The software profile

(1) Powerful database supportand storage capabilities

The system supports SQLServer and other database systems that can be accessed through the ODBC interface. For Sybase database servers, UNIX or Windows 2003 operating systemscan be used. Clients can use both Open Client and ODBC interfaces.

Database server: stores all the data of the system (including: running data, configuration information,alarm information, security and operator rights information, operation and maintenance records, etc.), it only passively responds to requests from otherbusiness stations for access. With file archiving function, archived files canbe saved on the hard disk for one year, and then dumped into other storagemedia to save;

(2) A variety of data queryand reporting features:

A number of reports, user classification alarm statistics reports, alarm classification statistics reports, end office alarm comparison reports, running status statistics reports, equipment running status query reports, and monitoring historical curve reports are provided.

(3) Data collection andinformation query function

This function is one of the core functions of the entire system, because it directly determines whether the monitoring center can accurately grasp the real-time usage of user meteringpoints in real time. The basis for realizing this function is high-precision metering and real-time online transmission based on GPRS network;

(4) Measurement data telemetry function:

The data reporting system adopts a system combining self-reporting and telemetry. That is, the automatic reporting is the main, and the user can also actively perform telemetry on anyone or more measuring points under the right;

(5) All online monitoring points can be seen in the viewing online, and the user can monitor all online monitoring points;

(6) In the real-time information query, the user can query the latest data;

(7) In the user query, you can query all the unit information in the system;

(8) In the operator query,you can query all operators in the system;

(9) In the historical data query,you can query the historical data in the system;

(10) You can query the usage information of any unit in the day, month and year;

(11) In the unit analysis,you can query the curve of a unit's day, month and year;
